About the Author

Eduardo del Rio (a.k.a. RIUS) was born in 1934 in Zamora, Michoacan (Mexico). He started morphing into RIUS after 1955, sprouting from his first cartoons in the magazine Ha-Ha. Prior to this misstep, RIUS was a seminarian, bureaucrat, bottler, soap salesman, office boy, book binder, cashier, professor without title, and gravedigger in Gayosso.
