Atheists Announce Convention Line-up

The American Atheists has added some speakers to the line up for their 2009 National Convention. As reported previously, the convention will be held in Atlanta from April 9th – 12th.

In addition to the previously reported speakers, Richard Dawkins, Ed Buckner, Mike Malloy, Jim Morrow, and (D)evangelical, the line up now includes:

•  Dr. J Anderson Thomson – Psychiatrist, educator, researcher, and author
• Nate Phelps – estranged son of “the most hated man in the world,” Fred Phelps
• John Lombard – organizer of the first Critical Thinking organization in modern China

In addition to the events that were scheduled to take place, they have added a “Mass De-baptism Ceremony.”
