WAFF Huntsville, Alabama: Atheist Billboard
I had an interview with WAFF on 1/3 to discuss the new billboard in Huntsville, Alabama and the upcoming SERAM. Of course the 20-minute interview turned into a 20-second soundbyte, but that's expected.
Thanks to Tom E. in Huntsville for capturing the video and sharing it on YouTube!
Here is the interview from WHNT 19 in Huntsville. Thanks again to Tom E. in Huntsville for capturing the video and putting it up on YouTube!

Well done and said plus look'in good!
i love it! we need more of them. i live just a few miles from this billboard. i will be at the meeting with bells on. looking forward to it
It always tickles me how upset theists get whenever atheists open their mouths. If they're so secure in their beliefs, why do they get so bent out of shape when we question them? Could it be, waaaaaaay in the back of their minds, they know just as well as we do that it's a scam and they don't want to be reminded?
Great interview. I love old St. Nick in the background. It just reinforces that Christianity is a myth.
Yeah, that St. Nick is a "nature Santa." He has a walking stick with vines growing on it, and the top is decorated with berries, etc. He was just too cute to pass up.
I've added the video from WHNT.
**OT** Sorry, but I thought this was worthy of mention.
ISLAMABAD (AP) -- The governor of Pakistan's wealthiest and most populated province was shot dead Tuesday by one of his bodyguards who told interrogators he was angry over the politician's opposition to laws that impose the death penalty for those convicted of insulting Islam.

Good job.
I liked the point about the use of the word 'you'.
Really good job on the camera, it's a shame not to see the rest of the interview, but what they pulled worked. For later billboards I would recommend adding that message you had there, making it clear who the billboards are for, and telling them more directly to come out. "You know it's a scam, so do we, come out at..." or "You know it's a scam, and you're not alone..."
It may mitigate the controversy, but it's a calculation of what do you want more, the controversy or the invitation?
I'm glad you put it up for this very reason. Because there are a lot of people who still go to church because they don't want to be alone. And having an atheist group may be beneficial to these people. When I first saw this I thought someone was just causing trouble, but now that I saw the video I think it is very good and I couldn't agree with you anymore!
