As far as I can tell those three reasons are still the major players here. I can’t prove it but I would guess that the reasons why all those other posters left are the same as mine. Are you so afraid to ban them? Do you think it makes you intolerant? It is true that the count is elevated every time they comment, but for the wrong reasons. They are succeeding in their confessed intention to disrupt this blog.

Banning them would result in a temporary lull but eventually I think you would find some intelligent people with a genuine interest in discussion.
