Jews do not fit the definitions of race or ethnicity. You can go on and on about crazy people that think otherwise but it is irrelevant. All that is relevant are the definitions and whether they are met.

Israel is now 51% secular (read: non-religious). So, if someone becomes a secular jew, in accordance w/zeke's & reason's logic, a large % wouldn't be citizenry anymore. Yet oddly, no mass extradition is taking place anywhere in Israel. In fact, BEAJ stated he's an atheist, but would be accepted in Israel anyways. Zionism was a secular cause anyways. The ancient israelites referred to themselves as the 'holy race', Hitler claimed the jews were a separate race, & I'd be willing to bet that many muslim arabs would agree on the ethnicity/race thing w/me as well.
