The american fascist council may have scared Gap’s marketing guys with this boycott, but I doubt we could gain anything from taking a similar path. The AFC grows when they can convince xians they are being persecuted (i.e. non-christian beliefs mentioned in xmas ads = obvious persecution!).

On the other hand, our only path to growth is at the grassroots organizing level. Thus, our productive activities will always be different than theirs. My other conclusion is that we have inherently more potential to provide value to our members than the AFC has for theirs.
