It wasn't that long ago that they won the right to vote and they're still discriminated against in the workplace. But, my question would be, since we are on the cutting edge of new human rights, how is it all panning out? Well, we can start with a fifty percent divorce rate. And the statistics also show that most divorce judges believe that any children of the union belong with the mother, and that the father owes a fantastic amount of money to her each month, for which she never has to account as spent on the children. Happy days in enlightened land!!! Some women really want to stay at home. This, of course, implies they are caring for the home, shopping for bargains, stretching the family money, when done right, it can work out very well. Yet, some women don't see the connection. Something more like, "I have a slot B and you want to put Tab A into it, and as long as I allow it, my rent is paid." My point is, that as injust as the backward societies' ideas are about relationships with men and women, before the self righteous assholes come forward and start pointing fingers, and promising how good things can be, first let them explain how bad things have become.
