It is puzzling as to why christians want to return to such a barbaric era.

Because during those barbaric times, christians were in control. If you weren’t a christian…well, we know how the Crusades and Inquisitions ended.

I think that this is the part of organized religion that has confused me the most…”We are tolerant people. If you don’t agree with us, we’ll kill you.”

Christians, give cash because they’re empowered by prayer.

So by praying, you authorize yourself to give cash…you can’t just give it because you can/want to? You could just skip a step and know that you’re allowed to do it because you have free will.

I guess displacing millions of iraqis from their homes and killing 100s of thousands doesn’t register with the xian right. Small wonder that the party of god may not survive it to 2012.
