Yesterday, which seems like today but farther away, Dennis Horvitz and I got together for our taping of the Atheist Viewpoint TV show. This show is aired here on line, and also on 50+ cable stations around the country.
We are considering eliminating the TV show on cable stations, and I wanted to get your input. It costs time and money to create and send out those tapes, and I am not sure anyone is watching. Does anyone out there watch the Viewpoint on TV? And while we’re at it, do you have any comments on the show?
In yesterday’s block, Dennis had to leave early, so I did a show alone. I think it was my first time actually talking for 24 minutes straight into a set of TV cameras. Tim, the guy behind the cameras, sits behind a window and points at the camera I’m supposed to talk to. Think BIG arm motions and peripheral vision. Amazingly, I can talk for 24 minutes without much of a problem at all

At any point when an idea becomes accepted fact without proof, it becomes religion.

So is that your definition of religion?
What, I believe you are right.
It would be very amusing to see Him.
Please Neo, post some of your wisdom on YouTube; the world is crying out for it.

Why thank you!… “it’s good to be back at the Dexter Lake Club”…
Uh, before you twist your arm out of its socket patting yourself on your back, you might want to revisit that thread…http://tinyurl.com/cjecgz
You obviously don’t know me as well as you think you do. It’s always fun to watch atheists grossly underestimate the power of the Gospel.
Given my current schedule, I can’t say that I’ll be able to respond in a timely manner here but I hope you realized by now that, like the object of your horror in a bad Stephen King novel, I don’t go away.
jcc,
It can’t be too powerful. It is losing market share to intelligence, and is currently only enslaving the minds of about 30% of the people on the Earth. We are at Peak Gospel and supplies are running out.

IT would be on my tv non stop if it were available in Richmond
The people in the South need this. Please get it down here.
Richmond Comcast”
Atheangolist,
The Atheist Viewpoint program relies on volunteer sponsors to receive the program tapes, take them to the local public access cable station, and then mail them back to AA (return postage paid by AA) after they have aired.
If you want the program in Richmond, be a sponsor.
David,
I watch The Atheist Viewpoint because I am the sponsor who puts it on the Anne Arundel County cable system in Maryland.
I don’t know who else watches it, but I do know that local churches have that public access channel loaded up with their programming. The Atheist Viewpoint is a needed alternative to the usual content.
I like what you and Dennis have done with the show. Ellen did a good job, but you guys have refreshed and re-energized it. Please continue the good work.

Response: It’s always hilarious watching you and Phreedumb ignoring all the questions about your ridiculous faith. But, I do not underestimate how badly idiots want to escape their fear of death. I do understand the power of religion, not the gospel, because your gospel I can tear to shreds. What I can’t do is release your victims. Your religious zealots have brainwashed yet another generation. And you, JaCCoff, if humanity becomes extinct, will be an asshole unwitting co-conspirator. Your reward will not be heaven, it will be in a fossil record that will probably never be dug up.
