As some of you know – those of you who had avatars on the site, this site used Gravatar, the Globally Recognized Avatar service. If you think this is cool, by the way, and it is, go here:
http://en.gravatar.com/
This is a system that allows you to use your same avatar on many sites, including all Word Press blogs. However, due to to popular demand, you can now add your own avatars, as well as preview your comments, which, frankly, is not that exciting, but whatever. Happy Blogging!

Thanks

How does it work?
Oh
Thanks for for the preview feature. I hate making the posts with misteaks in it.
Indeed, it works very nicely. Give us Icons we can remember !
Checking…can you see me? —>
Is there any way to increase the avatar pic size? I can barely see myself.
Godless, perhaps a face shot?
THANKS JARED!
When I go to my profile, the page says “Avatar uploads not allowed”
Tarma, here’s what worked for me.
I went to http://en.gravatar.com/ and created an account. I used the same e-mail address I use for the NoGodBlog.
Gravatar send me a confirmation e-mail with a link to a page that let me finish the account set up procedure.
I uploaded my avatar to the Gravatar account.
Poof! My avatar showed up on the NoGodBlog (after I refreshed the page a couple of times).
I didn’t have to edit anything in my NoGodBlog profile.

I tried that, and it said “tarma” was already in use by somebody else. Do you know (or does anybody else know) if I can register with Gravator with another username and still keep my same moniker here? Thanks!
Yeah – it’s email address, not nickname, you’re all set, Tarma.
Thx Jared, I’ll give it a try.
Cool
Hi, I’m a moron. How do I make this blog recognize gravatar@foody.org as my avatar address? I don’t see anyplace to plug it in in my atheists.org site profile.
I can’t log in on the site (I can only log in on the blog).
Sodomite, you’re a cycling homo too?
