Ditto. I voted by mail. No fuss, no muss, no signs, no lines. I'll never vote in person again.

Here in California, voter turnout is likely to be heavy even though the presidential part of the election is a foregone conclusion. We have a couple of highly charged ballot measures, particularly Proposition 8, the anti-gay marriage initiative, which will draw out loads of religious conservatives.

I've never seen an election cycle that stuffed my mailbox with so many political flyers either. It's depressing to think of how much money has been spent on this junk mail rather than on something more constructive. Oh well, I'll not lack for parakeet cage paper for 4 more years.

Early voting is pretty nice too. Yeah, it did take an hour, but it's not as bad as voting on the actual election day. I'll have to look into mail-in ballots for next year though.

I enjoy voting on the traditional voting day. I'm looking forward to tomorrow - literally and figuratively.

I got up early - 4th vote vast in my district. My polling place is a fucking church. Despite this, I was really hoping to avoid any proselytizing.

No such luck! How's this for a logical conundrum?

"People have turned their backs on God, and now they expect Him to come to the rescue."

Funny - I always thought that nothing from nothing = nothing.
