We have a couple of highly charged ballot measures, particularly Proposition 8, the anti-gay marriage initiative, which will draw out loads of religious conservatives.<br /> <br /> I've never seen an election cycle that stuffed my mailbox with so many political flyers either. It's depressing to think of how much money has been spent on this junk mail rather than on something more constructive. Oh well, I'll not lack for parakeet cage paper for 4 more years.
