Post your voting tales here!AND PLEASE VOTE! And while you’re voting, please keep in mind each candidate’s opinion about the separation of church and state! Who will better affect the Supreme Court, which will impact all out lives for decades? Who cares about nonreligious people?

This shit’s over, Fox has called Ohio for Obama, and he’s beating the dog piss out of McCain in PA thus far & all of the population (and vote) dense Obama-favoring counties in & around Philly haven’t reported yet.
FL lookin good.
DRINK!
Can the Dem’s get to 60 in the senate?
I am in S. Florida. My husband and I went this morning to vote and it took us 2 hours. They were having issues with the machines.
Hopefully FL won’t screw up again. And with amendment 2 things don’t look good here. 62% voted yes.
YES WE DID!
Yes We’re screwed!
Yeeeeeeeeehaaaaa!
The long national nightmare is OVER!!!
I wonder what phreek will do now? Commit suicide?
BushCo war crimes trial begins August 2009.
Obama wins,
Several million cracks that Hillary Clinton put in the glass ceiling, and Sarah Pallin managed to repair every last one of them.
McCain’s concession speech was the classiest I’ve heard since George McGovern’s in 1972.
I hope all this sweetness and light survives Jan. 20, but I’m not optimistic.
Neo
Palin didn’t repair anything. She has just caused the GOP to lurch further to the right – a shift which will further alienate Americans.
Evangelicals will be the hardest hit by the BushCo’s failed economic “policy” and there wont be much money flowing into Palin coffers.
Fiscal conservatives please form an orderly line to extract your pound of flesh from your former social conservative allies. Oh to hell with it. Sick’em!
McCain’s speech was very admirable, good on him!
And our new President gave a very good speech too.
I voted at Emmanuel Baptist Church here in Raleigh,NC and got there about 4:00 PM and didn’t have to wait. Just about all of my people won (not all but most) including Kay Hagan over the atheophobe Elizabeth Dole. My Unitarian church can’t endorse candidates during the campaign but we can celebrate victory– next Sunday will be interesting and delightful.
I stayed up long enough to see prop 8 losing in Calif. The rural areas, where the evangelicals live, usually report first so it’s looking like it will be no on 8.
Sorry that was prop 4 that’s losing. But prop 8 could yet fail. Need …. sleep ….. zzzzzz…
Imagine that.
America voted in a black arab muslim Marxist with known ties to domestic terrorists who wants to destroy the coal industry!:)
I guess all that earnest praying didn’t work. I guess this must be god’s will.
I hope all the conservatives will take the time to notice that the reaction around the world is extremely positive. Obama’s election has regained much of the good will that was squandered by Bush.
He has a lot to live up to but from a Canadian perspective America is back on track. CONGRATULATIONS AMERICA.
Hey Religious Right, its over bitches!!!
It looks like my marital status will be changing from ‘married’ to ‘Jeebused’.
As happy as I am to hear the words “President-elect Obama”, and to see women’s rights upheld, I’m sorry to see that the nation remains narrow-minded regarding the rights same-sex couples.
It appears that my state of California is going to legalize discrimination based on genetics by passing Prop 8. People made moronic decisions when they are uninformed. At this time there are still 3 million uncounted provisional and late absentee ballots, so there is still an outside chance. I don’t think I will bet on it though.
Dems didn’t get the magic 60 so it’s time to turn the screws on Liebermoney. Make an example of this traitorous shill for Israel!
AL Franken barely lost in MN. Does anybody know what the election laws are in MN. Will there be a run off. Al was the right choice. What went wrong in MN?
What,
I believe that race isn’t yet decided. The close vote there falls within the Minnesota’s mandatory recount law.
Don’t think we’ll know for certain the outcome until mid-December.
As a side note, I know where I’d run for office if I’m ever convicted of a felony… Alaska.
It appears corruption is a trait Alaskan voters can overlook.
Unbelievable.
P.S. Why is it a convicted felon can’t vote, but he/she can run for office and legislate? Now that makes perfect sense.
Did you see Sarah Palin trying to hold back the tears last night? Epic fucking lulz. Pack your bags you religious cunt and go back to Alaska. You betcha!
The kool aid drinkers won.
I’m suprised the riff raff didn’t riot to celebrate.Obama is no friend to atheists or whites he and his ilk are foes to be fought every step of the way. This election is not the end but just one battle.
Reason,
You’re so funny.
godless sodomite
i would not trust Obama to be an ally for you gays.He has deep roots in islam and you know how they treat you gays.
