FORUM – POLITICS & RELIGION ED BUCKNER, President of American Atheists will be a panelist this Monday, Oct. 27, 2008 at the University of West Georgia focusing on “THINGS YOU DON’T TALK ABOUT AT PARTIES: A FORUM ON POLITICS AND RELIGION.” Dr. Buckner will be joined by author Rick Halpern and Rev. Steve Davis of the Carrollton First Baptist Church. Panelists will discuss a wide range of topics suggested by the students, including religion, state-church separation, electoral and moral issues as well. “I’ve spoken here before at the invitation of Dr. Lori Lipoma and students at West Georgia, so I know it will be a stimulating and interesting evening,” said Dr. Buckner. “I look forward to talking about American Atheists and American politics and religion.” The event is free and open to the public.
