Kinda surprising. My wife goes to NKU but only on Tuesdays and Thursdays and I have a UC class on Wednesday nights so we weren't able to go.

I would wager that not a lot of people knew about the event and nontheists might have been more likely to hear about it and therefore attend (thanks to your blog). Of course, it's certainly possible that religious groups brought it to the attention of their members as well.

The fact that 59% of the audience thought the teacher should get her job back and be able to discuss intelligent design in a public school classroom at all, with or without conditions, does not make me feel warm and fuzzy.

I would be in the 28%, except I know how incorrigible these religious fanatics are. If the teacher is allowed back in the classroom she'd have to be watched nite & day to make sure she stuck to the lesson plan.
