If someone writes a Bible verse down for me, I look for the nearest trash can. Whether they know about my Atheism or not, that's just wrong.

It's odd though, how a football player would want to be apart from his team at that time, or anytime. If they were independent minded, they wouldn't have gotten into football. Of all organized sports, that's got to be the most sheepish.
What!?
I never understood prayer at games. Clearly god can't let both teams win. It all depends who prays the hardest or before the other team. Ha ha!
Seriously, though. You'd think these big husky men who put on such a tough persona wouldn't be afraid of an invisible man in the sky. Just like evangelicals in the military. I think these are the weakest of the bunch.

I give kudos to those teammates who refused to participate. Prayer is something that should not be allowed in public like seeing someone poop.
Private and unobtrusive prayer in public is fine but using your celebrity to make a very public and divisive display of religiosity is just vulgar.

Kurt Warner Grandstands for God, shifts focus from injured player to himself.

Then humans fix the problem Kurt's nonexistent god could not.

Thanks, non-participating players, for just letting the trainers and EMTs do their jobs, and for showing that not everyone believes in the great Football Fairy.
