I actually have more respect for southern baptists and the flds than I do for these liberal xian congregations. They might be batshit crazy but at least they are following their religion and not picking and choosing.

I want to make a comment on the first letter, you called the other congregations liberal, I felt it was an interesting choice of words. Why liberal? Is it because any group that challenges the status quo is liberal, really, even when the group in question adhers to 2000 year old hebrew biasis?
If this is the definition of liberal then no wonder Senator Obama is not the runaway leader in this election, his opposition to the last eight years really marks him a liberal.

This is not a church/state issue, and the Southern Baptists will have to resolve this dilemma without any help from Atheists. But this is yet another piece of evidence that we'd all be better off without religion.

Holy banking scam…..700 hundred billion deficit in a foreclosure fiasco….and Palin’s worried about teaching monotheism next to biology….WTF….I like the next President to explain to me how our banking system works….because this FY’s spending machine is going well over to a ONE TRILLION DEFICIT….Palin also thinks our soldiers are fighting with a supernatural being on thier side….wow….and how much of that deficit is for jesus?
