Wow...the dailykos.com?????

Dave...you've outdone yourself this time. There is no doubt about your left leanings now...

The Daily Kos has got to be one of the most wacko left web sites on the planet...

And you're quoting them on AA? So much for standards...

The Daily Kos, showing their high moral character, and proving that nothing is off the table when it comes to trying to destroy a politician, is claiming Palin's latest child is actually the 16 year old daughters...

http://dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/8/30/121350/137/486/580223

One need only look through their archives to see how ignorant and hateful these people are...

As I have always said, AA has become nothing more then a splinter group for the radical left of the DNC...

This thread is one for the record books...so much for using quality resources to make a point...

Madeline Murray O'Hare must be rolling over in her grave to see what her organization has become...

Slightly of topic but worth a mention,
ScienceDebate 2008 had submitted a list of science and technology policy questions to our presidential candidates.Only Obama has answered them, while McCain has been silent (maybe he's waiting for input from his creationist VP choice). Obama's answers are pretty darned good, although we have to keep in mind that these are campaign promises, many of the proposals look rather expensive, and with the economy going as it is, implementation may be a problem? But the attitude is positive, at least.Go to:http://www.sciencedebate2008.com/www/index.php

Nice try and cover Dave...

I guess you realized how radical your original thread was so you had to add 4 other links to try and give it creditility...

The only problem is the 4 links have nothing to do with your original thread...

Palin said this:

Are you offended by the phrase "Under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance? Why or why not?

SP: Not on your life. If it was good enough for the founding fathers, its good enough for me and I'll fight in defense of our Pledge of Allegiance.

Maybe she should have Phreedm answer those hard questions for her??
Jonathan

Heh. So no foreign or domestic policy background, and no American history background either for Palin. So far, she's good at hunting, fishing, running, hiking, making babies, and maybe faking having babies.

I saw this stuff about Joel's Army on the Obama campaign website yesterday.
Hillsong is connected to Australian pastor Michael Guglielmucci, who claimed to be dying of an aggressive form of cancer for two years, when he was actually addicted to pron.

And Todd Bentley, also a Joel's Army advocate, is a fundamentalist revival preacher who uses violence to literally beat the devil and evil spirits out of people.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XwnslA9la4

Fortunately, his last appearance was Aug. 8/08. when he admitted to an "unhealthy relationship with a staff member." His wife had already left him. It's amazing to watch the video and see how many people think hit's funny that he did harm to others in the name of god, and that they lined up by the thousands to hear him, and hoped he would pick on them.

This is certainly worse - if it's true. The tripe posted an the Daily KOS the other day makes this kind of thing rather unconvincing.

I'd like to see a reputable news source investigate this claim - people without mud to sling or an axe to grind.

Hear are some other "gems of wisdom"
from Palin:

Will you support the right of parents to opt out their children from curricula, books, classes, or surveys, which parents consider privacy-invading or offensive to their religion or conscience? Why or why not?

SP: Yes. Parents should have the ultimate control over what their children are taught.
So she wants parents who could be uneducated to pass their lack of knowledge on to their kids?

Q:Do you support the Alaska Supreme Court's ruling that spousal benefits for state employees should be given to same-sex couples? Why or why not?Why or why not?

SP: No, I believe spousal benefits are reserved for married citizens as defined in our constitution.
Jonathan,

I wonder which article of the Constitution covers spousal benefits or married citizens?

It seems to me the only reason to pass an amendment to the constitution, barring same sex marriages, is because, as it is written, it currently allows for same sex marriage. Otherwise, there would be no need for such amendment.
