Congratulations to Denmark and the Danish publisher for publishing a book critical of Muhammad. Yet another book critical of Muhammad and Islam is quite in order when one considers the place of women, homosexuals, and infidels in Islam. I, personally would like to see more criticism of Islam on the NoGodBlog. We sure bash Christianity a plenty-- and Islam is a much more pernicious bad religion than Christianity.

I don't know why, but for some reason massive controversy over depictions of Muhammad in the Western World seems to be a post 9/11 phenomenon. On July 4th of 2001 South Park showed an episode called Super Best Friends that featured several minutes of unredacted Muhammad footage where he spoke, identified himself as Muhammad, and used his power of fire. Anyone have any ideas why this didn't experience any backlash?
