Congratulations to Denmark and the Danish publisher for publishing a book critical of Muhammad. Yet another book critical of Muhammad and Islam is quite in order when one considers the place of women, homosexuals, and infidels in Islam. I, personally would like to see more criticism of Islam on the NoGodBlog. We sure bash Christianity a plenty-- and Islam is a much more pernicious bad religion than Christianity.

I don't know why, but for some reason massive controversy over depictions of Muhammad in the Western World seems to be a post 9/11 phenomenon. On July 4th of 2001 South Park showed an episode called Super Best Friends that featured several minutes of unredacted Muhammad footage where he spoke, identified himself as Muhammad, and used his power of fire. Anyone have any ideas why this didn't experience any backlash?

I thought Mohammed Ali was a great athlete. Pity what a that pounding did to his brain. Should anybody real be skeered of him in his present state.

That Super Beat Friends episode was awesome - and has been rebroadcast (without editing Mohammed out) several times since.

But the best part is Jesus using his one super power

"Using the wood that Krishna cut down as a beaver, Jesus uses his master carpentry skills to make a giant mold."
Has anyone heard of "Family Life Education"? My daughter had a form sent home for authorization and nothing said anything about religion. Googled it and it appears to be from a christian perspective.

Excellent for Denmark. Fuck any idiot that doesn't like it. As a writer, I would never want my work censured because some pansy religion fuckwads might be offended by it. Fuck them all. Go Denmark!!!

First they publish the cartoons, now the book. I guess it's ok to say we should envy their freedom of speech which is better than ours here.
