Kosher Plant violates Lots of laws!

Thx Alex…

DES MOINES, Iowa – Iowa labor officials said Tuesday that they had uncovered dozens of child labor violations at the nation’s biggest supplier of kosher meat.Officials from the state’s Labor Commissioner’s Office said their investigation, which spanned several months, uncovered 57 cases of child labor law violations at the Agriprocessors kosher meatpacking plant in Postville, where nearly 400 workers were arrested this spring in the largest immigration enforcement operation in U.S. history. The types of violations included minors working in prohibited occupations, exceeding allowable hours for youth to work, failure to obtain work permits, exposure to hazardous chemicals and working with prohibited tools.”The investigation brings to light egregious violations of virtually every aspect of Iowa’s child labor laws,” Dave Neil, Iowa Labor Commissioner, said in a statement. “It is my recommendation that the attorney general’s office prosecute these violations to the fullest extent of the law.”Juda Engelmayer, an Agriprocessors spokesman, declined to comment.Federal immigration agents arrested 389 illegal-immigrant workers, mostly Guatemalans, in a May 12 raid at the Agriprocessors plant. Most of the arrested workers pleaded guilty within a week and are serving sentences in federal prisons outside Iowa before being deported.

OK So lets have fun and COUNT THE SINS!1) Illegal immigrants — a crime, yes, but not so bad from a religious POV.2) These immigrants don’t know a thing about kosher rules, so the buyers have essentially been defrauded — they can’t be sure their meat was kosher3) Child labor laws! COME ON! How immoral do you have to be to break child labor laws? Hypocrites and criminals. Hope some people go to jail, and don’t pull that religion card to get out of it (I’m sure they’ll try tho)

Me too which is so sad and sooo predictable. Any criticism of anyone or anything jewish is antisemitism in the Brave New World that we live in, mate. bill donahue over at the catholic league is taking a lesson from the adl and organised jewry and is trying to do the same for any criticism of anyone or anything catholic. Not to be outdone, the muzzies are trying to push through a law that would make it a violation of international law to defame islam (see article linked below). Orwells concept of thought crime is now very much a reality, especially in the EU, Australia, and Canada. Vote Libertarian and work to make sure that it never happens here!

Last time we did that, Bush ‘won’ by 500 votes, less than half the number who voted for 3rd parties.

Then again, this is exactly why we have the big O talking about expanding the unconstitutional ‘faith based’ money handouts as if our demographic is meaningless.

    Moral of the story:
If you are in a non-swing state, throw a protest vote to the 3rd party you would like to see have more influence. Believe me, the 2 ‘big tent’ parties are paying attention to how many votes they get.

If you live in a swing state though, vote for the lesser of two likely evils and hope for incremental change.

If you live in a swing state though, vote for the lesser of two likely evils and hope for incremental change.

The American people have been doing that for a hundred years, and all the incremental change we get is for the worse.

The only possible way to make your vote count is to get over your addiction to the two-party system.

  8. 3E8 says:

The only way we’re going to get over the two party system is by widening the marketing of a 3rd party… think Ross Perot’s semi-effective (albeit a bit wacked) campaign.

The Libertarian Party (of which I am a proud member) has been and is abysmally invisible from the public eye.

Look who is running on the Libertarian Party. Total insult.

  10. reason says:

dems/repubs are traitors we have 20million illegals driving down wages, committing crimes, insulting our women.
this election is about race/culture if you want to live in a third world nation vote obama/mccain.every multi ethinic nation breaks apart when we do its going to be ugly.

  11. Augustine says:

reason, the huns invading europe as the “breaking apart of a multi-ethinic culture” doesn’t count. Race is an arbitrary classification for the most part, meaningless outside human perception. I’m not impressed by the way things in politics are: the most important thing I want is reduced military spending.

I eat meat, but I absolutely refuse to eat Kosher meat. It is against Jewish law to eat food that was killed while unconscious, so Kosher meat is made by cutting the major arteries of a conscious animal, and letting it bleed out. Not to sound anti-semitic, but only the Jews could get away with this type of horseshit on such a large scale.

  13. fireemblem555 says:

Reason, your post is anything but reasonable. Mexican immigrants don’t insult woman any more than the hoards of Muslims we allow in legally, as for crime, if you truly want to get into semantics, that’s the domain of the many black people who are here legally, with the majority of all murders being committed by black people. I don’t have anything against black people, but I have to disprove reason’s point.

  14. Cynic says:

Reason’s point breaks down all by itself, FE555.

Here’s the part I’d like to highlight from it: “Every multi-ethnic nation breaks down, and when we do, it’s going to get ugly.”

Huh. Seem’s like Reason has a problem with mixing ethnicities. Personally, I’d like to see the data showing this. Just off the cuff though, I can’t think of too many stable nations that don’t qualify as multi-ethnic. Come to think of it, most of the nations that really seem to be hitting the fan are almost defined by their determination to purge their land of “offending ethnicities”.

    Huh.

What exactly are you arguing for, Reason?

  15. reason says:

    examples
Austria-Hungry,USSR,Yugoslavia,IRAQ which can only be held together with force.no i don’t have anything against a particular group but have you forgotten the illegals waving their national flags demanding amnesty an equal rights not all were hispanic by the way.big business export middle class jobs an imports cheap illegal labor this is a toxic stew that sooner or later will blowup.it appears that lenin was right the capitalist will supply the rope to hang himself.

  16. reason says:

    Cynic
the ethinic groups aren’t mixing and why would they people find a since of comfort among their own.

  17. reason says:

    oops
i meant sense not since of comfort.

  18. Cynic says:

Have you considered, Reason, that this argument has been suggested and shown to be false at multiple points in American history? Have we as a nation hanged ourselves yet on the rope of Italian, Polish, German, and Irish immigrants from waves gone past?
