Gil, (I deleted your duplicate post)

I actually really liked this issue. I'd never read it before and I thought it was telling to read some MMOH stuff from 1971. Sure, it had a certain "best of" quality, but I really liked the way it came out.

I DO think it a bit low-brow for you to criticize the magazine for which you used to work, without saying you used to work there. It kinda skews the issue, don't you think? I always try to take the high road.

In the future, please bear in mind that I have no problem with posting suggested topics. I usually do, and would appreciate it if you would email me proposed threads so I can post them and we can stay on topic.

Dave,
I am posting this here, because I do not know how to get an opinion out to readers on a different (but of high interest) topic. Can you comment or see that it gets some exposure?

The "latest" issue of American Atheist Magazine is a joke, being a reprint of a 1971 publication. Is this the new leader's (and leaders')way of demonstrating the forward moving direction the organization is taking, now that they have removed Ellen? Is this the output of two months' worth of innovative and inspired creativity?

David, your story gives me hope that one day we might all be able to learn to be tolerant of each other. Most of my friends at least believe in God, some are quite religious, yet our differences in this area don't seem to get in the way of our friendships.

As for Gil's comments - I can understand your point of view, but I am sure that Frank Zindler is probably a little overwhelmed doing two jobs that he has no intention of continuing indefinitely.

My family and I have really enjoyed seeing this bit of Atheist history. It's an issue I intend to save.

(And yes, I realize that I capitalized "Atheist!")
