I think the point Dave’s making is that makes two dinosaurs.

Oh great! what a name to call this find! The Bible thumpers will have a hay day with their older translationss, which mention creatures like dragons, unicorns, flying serpents, leviathan, etc.

Wow, that’s one scary looking dragon. I think I’ll have nightmares tonight. You really should warn people when you’re going to put such graphic pictures on display, David.

Actually there is a large family of lizards called “dragons” found in SE Asia and Australia. Komodo dragon, bearded dragon, frilled dragon, etc-Its just a name and doesnt indicate any sort of mythical nature to these reptiles.

Reminds me of a conversation I had a few years ago. We were talking about dinosaurs and someone said “dragons” instead of “dinosaurs.” I corrected her and told her she meant to say “dinosaurs.” She said, “Oh, well, dragons . . . dinosaurs – they all lived around the same time.”

I wonder what this predator dino ate before the fall. I’m pretty sure there weren’t any coconuts available in what eventually became Poland.

She was right, you know. They all died out before the emergence of the Smurfs.

    Alex,
While I am not quite as tribal as you, I do agree on free speech. You would enjoy this if you haven’t already seen it:

    Great speech by Hitch.

I’m surprised that happened in Denmark. It would be great if lots of Danes would all wear T-shirts or carry signs saying “I am Nekschot,” in the spirit of “I am Spartacus”. Though with the Islamofascists abounding, it could be quite dangerous. I’m sure they wouldn’t give a damn if they killed the wrong infidel. But as far as protesting the stupid law, they couldn’t all be arrested. Maybe the whole world just needs to start drawing cartoons about Mohammered.

It was in the Netherlands, not Denmark, which is even more shocking given that nations history of tolerance and personal freedom.

OK Karen I guess you’re right. On behalf of American Atheists I apologize if the picture in the post scared anyone or caused anyone to have nightmares.

All hail DinoPope! The ruler of an ancient religion that should have gone extinct a long time ago.
