I personally believe she was out of bounds. But I’ve heard her basic argument many times on this board focused against believers…

How many times have I heard someone state Falwell or Robertson or Dobson were dangerous to our children…?

To bad we don’t have the transcript of what the hearing was all about. I’m guessing Sherman was raising a fuss about spending tax dollars to restore a 100 year old church…

The number of Catholics and Baptists succeeding in putting their hands into my back pocket and taking my funds from me just keeps growing and growing.

No wonder attendance at the weekly stock holder (congregates) meetings at these religious corporations keeps declining. They no longer need to go and fork over their own money since the religious corporations are securing more than enough funding directly from the government through political paybacks schemes and corruption.
