How to fight terrorists

Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

You fight terrorists by spending $36,900,000 for four projects funding chapels, including:$11,600,000 by Rep. Nancy Boyda (D-Kan.) for phase I of the chapel complex at Fort Leavenworth;$10,400,000 by Rep. Ike Skelton (D-Mo.) for a chapel at Fort Leonard Wood; $9,000,000 by Senate Military Construction Appropriations Subcommittee member Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), House appropriator Zach Wamp (R-Tenn.), Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), Rep. John Tanner (D-Tenn.), and Rep. Edward Whitfield (R-Ky.) for a chapel center at Fort Campbell; and $5,900,000 by Rep. Randy Forbes (R-Va.) for a unit chapel at Fort Lee.Now let us all pray cause god knows we got the chapels to do it in. Christians suing UC over admission standards

Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

The University of California school system refuses to admit students who learn about science from a sectarian institution with a religious viewpoint. So the Advocates for Faith & Freedom (AFF) are suing UC to force them to place sectarian taught myths on the same basis as reality. Can anyone imagine the damage to our economic system that will occur if AFF succeeds? Imagine every school system across the nation forced to accept religious dogma instead of reality and the deplorable level of intelligence of scientists produced from such an educational system.Would it be hyperbole to say that our entire educational system is on trial for its life?Peter Nuhn

I cannot tell you how important it is that we understand the true nature of Islam, that we see it for what it really is. In fact, I will tell you this: I do not believe our country can truly fulfill its divine purpose until we understand our historical conflict with Islam. I know that this statement sounds extreme, but I do not shrink from its implications. The fact is that America was founded, in part, with the intention of seeing this false religion destroyed, and I believe September 11, 2001, was a generational call to arms that we can no longer ignore. Rod Parsley

Hey, we got a divine purpose. Who knew? And it is to kill towel heads. Shit, I grew up being told our divine purpose was to kill communist gooks (racially derogatory terms used for demonstration purposes of the oppositions position). Man oh man, this divine business is really violent, ain’t it? Also very very very racially discriminatory. Come to think of it, it is also the divine purpose of America to destroy secularists as well. Can someone tell me if there is anyone out there that America’s divine purpose is not to kill? Too bad our divine purpose does not include love, peace, or respect for the diversity of the American public.Peter Nuhn
