I live in St. Louis, MO. I’m pretty sure we’re the teen STD capitol of the country. I’ll have to double check my facts. I’m an 8th grade teacher and I can definitely support Cecile Richards quote. The abstinence-only program is NOT working!

No, abstinence doesn't work. It didn't even work for Mary, fer chrissakes. And kids today have the crazy idea that oral sex isn't sex, but no one told the STDs that.

I've got no problem with promoting abstinance, none whatsoever.

hell, I'm glad I abstained as long as I did.

but if you're gonna promote only abstinance you might as well keep trying to tell the kids they came from a cabbage patch.
