I worked at Home Depot at one time, and there were always people building stuff by themselves, all trying to save money or trying to do stuff that wasn’t technically to code but that worked. The “do-it-yourself-ers” always knew how to do things, but they had no money.

However, the home-schooled kids usually always get a Ph.D and make money, isn’t that right?

I think that public education sucks so much that it is wiser to do-it-yourself if you have the time and money. Isn’t 1 on 1 education (tutors) how Isaac Newton was schooled? Tutors or paying somebody else to school your kids wouldn’t be half bad either, right?
