I love your work! Your choice of effervescent (for lack of better words) colors creates a novel contrast with respect to the image themes.

PS: Are those noodly appendages on the blessed virgins crown? And is that a glass of marinara in her hand?

    Ramen

    - I don’t get it. Some people like Obama just because he is a slick talker? Well, where is the program? How is he planning to implement it if there is indeed one?

Hillary is clearly the better qualified and more knowledgeable candidate, that not to say she doesn’t have her faults.

    - xian troll Horus(what a choice of alias)is good for a laff. “I’d like to go ahead and recast my ballad for Hitler. He’s an atheist, he’s good with kids, and he seems passionate about his work.”

    - What do we get? the false idea that Catholic Hitler was an atheist(yes, again), great vocabulary, “ballad”. Good going Horus.

Thanks for the compliments and question. The ‘noodly appendanges’ on the crown are reminiscent of the sun – to tie in a little reminder of christianity’s page roots. And, it’s a bloody mary drink in her hand (not marinara). Thus the title “Bloody Mary”. :)

Being registered social-ist (note to editor, your filtering of a certain word that appears in that is annoying :p) I couldn’t vote in my states’ primaries.

I’m thinking of actually voting Democrat this election if Obama gets the nod. If Clinton gets the nod I’ll quietly just vote third party like I usually do.

On a side note, no candidate is actually specific on what they say, whether Clinton or Obama. I can’t stand it when people see an Obama speech and say “He isn’t being specific.”

Speeches at rallies are not meant to be specific. They are meant to be feel good and energizing. Clinton attempts the same thing and offering uplifting, non-specific statements about unifying America and all of that.

That said, their websites offer much more information and you’ll find Obama is as specific as Clinton is on policies.

I think the “Obama offers no plan” canard needs to stop, personally. Also think the backlash against empowering of people to take action and telling them to get change they must want change needs to stop.

Thanks for the clarification. Ramen. ;-)

I woted for Obama for two reasons 1; he actually seems to have some intelligence and 2; I cannot forgive Clinton for voting for allowing the Iraq invasion. She was either too stupid to see that the reports of WMDs were wrong or she was just doing it to embace “to get along, you must go along”. If she gets the nomination I will vote for her due to the alternatives available. When we invaded Iraq I became embarrased to be an American for the first time in my life. I consider the war to be a terrorist act and anyone who fights in it to be a terrorist by association. To me, all the other issues of this election period are minimal by comparison. The next president will not be able to effect much change in their first 4 years; they will be too busy unraveling the Gordian Knot that the current administration has tied.

I’ll get down off my soap box now.

My vote was for Obama but it does not matter to me who wins the primary – the Dems will have my vote in November. This country can not stand one more minute of the retardlicans and Bush-humpers than it has already endured.

Voted Obama. Will support Hillary over Straight-Jacket-Express McCain.

McCain’s big wins in the primaries were all in states that will go to the Dems in November. Poor McCain. Sold his “soul” to BushCo for a “chance in hell” in November.

Magic Underwear Mitt had a great, well sort of for humor, speech about it which is analyzed by Jon Stewart. You can see it at Onegoodmove.

The Mittster stumbles all over himself explaining Gawd and doesn’t realize that he is self-contradictory. It seems that Europe doesn’t have enough Gawd, Jihadists have too much, and Mitt has just enough.

How he can tell, he doesn’t say.

  11. rna2dna says:

    bernarda,

Thanks for the Mittster at Onegoodmove information.

It is good that Mitt realized he needed to fight terrorism before he was put into a position where even if he won all the remaining states he would still lose. Oh but wait, he already is in a position were he can’t win. So now I am confused, why was it he didn’t quit before he couldn’t win?

Mormons are more christian than even the christians are. The unwritten commandment is ‘deception is not optional’.

I will vote for Clinton. I think it’s time for a strong President with a passion for our country. And, she’s backed by Wes Clark who I highly respect for his years of service to our country. Maybe Wes Clark could run as VP?

  14. rna2dna says:

The Republicans absolutely must stop trying to combine religion and government. They had a perfect chance to show some way that it might work reasonably, as they had the congress and the presidency. Their effort showed why it is absolutely necessary to separate religion and government. I will not vote for republicans again until they rework their platform. They will need to show me that they can act responsibly. There will be no support here for a republican president in 2008.

Right now I think the best choice is Clinton, however, I haven’t stopped listening to Obama yet, my vote isn’t due for a couple of months.

  15. posterelli2 says:

    undecided.
The closest that stands for what I believe in is Obama. Next is Clinton.

I don’t think that republicans have a proven record for rational thought in any means.
I honestly doubt I will ever vote republican again, but that doesn’t mean i support the democrats. It’s always a fight of the least of two evils.
For all you McCain supporters, isn’t this the guy who claimed that the Grand Canyon was a God creation and actually posted it on a sign there?

I’d vote for Bugs Bunny first.
I think I’ll likely vote Democrat in the primary and then other in the final.

I voted for Obama because I remember Kennedy. I want another clear-eyed, intelligent, passionate person as president, someone we can be proud of, someone the world will embrace.
