If I were a lawyer, especially one that has been involved in litigating against the Catholic molester priests, I would be thinking about branching out to take on the scum in the Baptist and Mormon churches now. These two groups are fairly centralized and therefore have deep pockets. Go get em!

No great suprise, of course, but kudos (I think) to AOL for having caught this and passing it on to the proper authorities. I say, "I think", because this raises the spectre of eavesdropping, but I assume AOL's Terms of Service likely disclose this.

Regardless, pedophilia and child por**graphy are horrid abuses against innocent children, and to hide these crimes behind religious clap-trap (e.g. "If you tell anyone about this, little boy, Jesus will send you to Hell") is unforgivable.

Want to keep updated on "Black-Collar Crime"? Subscribe to Freethought Today, the monthly newspaper published by Freedom From Religion Foundation. Dozens of crimes alleged, prosecuted, and convicted are documented in each issue; all of them committed by members of various clergy and church authorities. The gamut is astonishing: embezelement, assault, rape, murder, child abuse (sexual and other) -- and these are only the ones that readers send in to Freethought Today. Think of how many other instances of clergy-crime never see the light of day.

Hope this pastor gets the full monty in jail-time for his despicable behavior.

--OFF TOPIC---
I was in a Borders bookstore the other day perusing the Biology section when to my dismay I found 2 of Michael Behe's books on Intellegent Design masquerading there as science. I have written a letter to Borders about this (I don't expect to get much love back) and was wondering if anybody else here has noticed ID books being placed in a Scientific section of the bookstore.
