Did anyone hear about Huckleberry's misquoting of Sun Tzu's The Art of War?

He said in a Foreign Affairs article:
"Keep your friends close and your enemies closer."

Actually it was Michael Corleone from the godfather who said that.

Great. Just what we need. Another religious nut with no foreign policy experience that can't read. Didn't we already try this?

At any rate, Huckabee is clearly placing crosses in his political ads. Does he even care about the Constitution anymore?

Could you clarify this statement? Doesn't a presidential candidate have a right to place whatever religious symbolism into his ads that he wishes? Just as as voters have every right to reject him on the basis of his advertised religion? How is this unconstitutional? Perhaps I'm missing your point.

Alex...I agree with your assesment.
There is absolutely nothing unconstitutional about his ads. Poor taste? Maybe.. But AA is simply trying to create a crisis so that they can ride in as the white night to save the day...for one's dues of course...

I wonder what other "constitutional" rights one loses when they run for political office...

Just one more glaring example of twisting the first amendment to promote the myth...

Actually, “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer” IS Sun-tzu. It is Michael Corleone quoting Vito quoting Sun-tzu.

As to Huckabee’s religious stance, don’t we want to be warned so we (those of us voting) can vote accordingly? Sorry, I see no violation (yet) of separation of church and state.

Hate to pile on, but the earlier posters are right. There is nothing unconstitutional about Huckleberry advertising his superstition of choice.
It might be refreshing (though unfortunately impossible) if we could somehow require full disclosure of any nutty ideas candidate might have.
