I agree with phreedm – a poor showing for Ellen Johnson, although Bill Donahue came across as shrill and scared.
We need to do better and not waste these opportunities.

I fully agree with Phreedm on this issue.I have watched Ellen many many times on the Telly and listen to her on the radio and she just does not
posses the skills to be a good spokesperson.
I just watched this Early Show interview online, and I was disappointed. Ellen Johnson scarcely talked about the movie at all, and that is what they were supposed to be discussing. Although I appreciate that she was collected, reasonable, and quite congenial, she was almost entirely off topic and thus scored few points for us atheists. Surely there must be someone, somewhere who can do a better job of representing our views to the general public. Boy, do we need some good PR people!
