Yes these people are blind and stupid followers but after researching and reading up on the FLDS cult it seemed to me that these people really don’t have much choice at all in what they believe. The members of this cult live like 18th century pioneers and are in a state of near total isolation from the wider world. I’m no taking sides here but when you are surrounded by this sort of brainwashing and insular society with no alternative beliefs ever being presented is it any wonder that these people are so out of touch with reality?
