Jerry’s Gone But Not Forgotten

A Milwaukee anti-abortionist pastor named Matt Trewhella is blaming the California wildfires on the fact that California’s governor signed into law a law that outlaws school curriculum from discriminating against gays, lesbians, bi-sexuals or transgender students.I think the California wildfires should be blamed on Blackwater. They just moved into San Diego and are building a compound there and I think the invisible wizard in the sky really hates the deaths in Iraq and the mercenaries killing people for money as well as engaging in extraordinary rendition and torture around the world. Is god upset about gays or torture? Maybe the investigations into arson will answer the question. But like Trewhella said in his email: “I won’t be holding my breath.”Peter Nuhn

This is how stupid religion makes people.

Wildfires happen in the shithole known as CA every year. They might as well claim rain in Seattle as proof that bitch god has PMS.

Seriously, why are people that stupid?

Bushwa made a comment in regards to praying for things to work out (fires in Ca.) How about we send the firefighters back home, see how well prayer works out.
Give credit where it’s due! It’s HUMANS that are fixing the problem.

    mx,

Seriously, why are people that stupid?

people that have been successfully brainwashed by religion no longer have the capacity to realize how stupid they’ve become.

Matt Trewhella is still around? I thought he was washed up back in the nineties when the anti-abortion flare-up fizzled out.

He tried to start a sort of area-wide mega-cult by getting people to come to anti-abortion rallies. They’d rent huge auditoriums, pack them with people, show their gross film, and rant for a while, then pass the KFC buckets to take up a “love offering”. The more people showed up, the more money they raked in.

Most of the clergy in the area seemed to be waiting for the craze to blow over but the alarmist fundie radio station was having a great time with it. Funny how abortion and Trewhella hardly ever seem to get mentioned on the air any more… even though the situation hasn’t changed at all.

If the Big Guy really wants to get his message across he needs to be less ambiguous about it. Maybe the message is that he hates houses.

mx, ahh, I hate to have to correct you but a “bitch god” would be a “goddess” :) I know this because, as the saying goes, I ride on the “bitch seat” on our motorcycle. However, I always have to correct the bikers because deep down inside they know it’s really the “godess pedastal”.

  6. cry4turtles says:

That’s “goddess pedastal”. Take that Ren!

So why didn’t god burn down San Francisco instead of Malibu and San Diego? The City By the Bay is queer central.
    Apparently gawd hates presbyterians:

It was just a matter of time before some xtian nut case found a good scapegoat for the wildfires. But it wasn’t as hilarious as Fox News saying al-Qaeda started those fires yesterday.

This is another example of the blind refusing to see. God is trying to communicate with us through the burning bush metaphor gone literal and he got a bit hyberbolic, since he was so out of practice with intercession.

How surprised he must be to have water poured on him, effectively being told to STFU.

Just like a filth monger to promote discrimination in the midst of a natural disaster. Sickening.

Maybe that Human Torch Pope started the blazes. Did ya ever think of that? Huh?
