Thou shalt not LIE

VATICAN CITY (AP) — A Vatican official suspended after being caught on hidden camera making advances to a young man said in an interview published Sunday that he is not gay and was only pretending to be gay as part of his work. Stenico was suspended by the Vatican after he was caught on tape making sexual advances at a young man. In an interview with La Repubblica newspaper, Monsignor Tommaso Stenico said he frequented online gay chat rooms and met with gay men as part of his work as a psychoanalyst. He said that he pretended to be gay in order to gather information about “those who damage the image of the Church with homosexual activity.”

OK I already blogged this — I just thought it was funny.

Another pitiful self hating religious gay who is a victim of xian indoctrination. He is at war with his own nature and then lies when caught giving in to it. Pathetic.

Theatre of the Absurd or Comic Relief?

Haggard was “cured” of homosexuality through prayer circles and Stenico was only “pretending” to be gay…

    Queens of Denial…

“Those who damage the image of the church”

    HA!

That’s all I have to say.

  4. what says:

He said that he pretended to be gay in order …

And as his victims come forward we will learn just how good he was … at pretending.

And soon Billy O’Really will be telling us that he was just pretending to be a homophobic xian war monger so that he could penetrate the radical right for the news story of the century.

lol, that is just too funny. Denial at it’s best. I wonder how much time he has spent trying to convince himself of this particular delusion. Religious wackos never cease to amuse me. I will be laughing at this for a while.

Make no mistake, I do truly feel sorry for the poor guy. I think there is some truth to the idea that laughter is a way to deal with suffering. When I read “stranger in a strange land” as a young person, it seemed to make sense, and still does.

That said, this is truly funny. The biblical phrase, thou shalt not bare false witness, takes on new meaning when you wonder what parts of his body he did probably bare in his phony mission.

It will take me a few to regain my composure.

If only all victims of clergy abuse could tape their encounters. Oh wait, there isn’t enough tape in the world for that!

Im watching the first television interview with Sen Larry Craig right now. It is PATHETIC. His fast blinking and other body language are clearly showing that he is lying about what happened a the Minneapolis Airport.

“I’m not gay! I promise! I just solicit sex from men in public toilets (God I want DICK sooooo bad but I’m terrified of who I am!)”

    Bwahahahahaha!

There is more on this not-gey story.

“Father Tommaso Stenico, 60, had “a detailed dossier” of all the homosexual clerics at Vatican “with a list of names and circumstances implicating a certain number of priests and even bishops working at the Curia,” Ignazio Ingrao, reporter for the conservative news weekly said.

Stenico also sent his superior Cardinal Claudio Hummes a report denouncing the moral degradation within the Curia, which could make the Vatican “tremble,” Ingrao said.

According to Panorama, Stenico, who also worked for a Catholic television station Telepace and owns a white BMW car, also drew up the list out of resentment at having waited so long to be named a bishop.”
