I would like to see this question asked so I went to the web site and voted for it. With enough votes, maybe CNN will consider it when they pick the questions.

The non-religious voter question has slipped to the #2 position.
People need to go to the first link provided and vote!

I added my two cents, but somehow, even if it is far and away the highest vote-getter, I doubt we will ever see the question asked at the debate. Mustn't rile the sheeple, you know.

lol, CNN is risking eternal damnation? We all know that speaking like the godless folks are people who count is a route to hell. I do not see CNN taking the huge amount of anger they would get for even asking that question. I am sure they would loose thousands of viewers. Not to mention the death threats and hate mail.

I am afraid American society is not mature enough to act any different. I do not give up on raising them, I just think it is too soon for their little minds to accept. For now it is best to be careful what you say around them, they may react violently to complicated ideas. Then we may have to put them to bed without dinner. I would advocate a spanking but my knee is already sore from the huge amounts of spankings I have already administered to many of them.

At the first link to the questions, in the third row at number ten is a question about faith-based initiatives that is good. "It's a question of reason vs. faith".

Also, don't forget you can vote against questions that you think are frivolous.

I don't have the camera and am not too technical, but maybe someone would also like to ask the question "Are any of your sons or daughters serving in the military?"

For a run-down on conservative chickenhawks.

In general:

Wow...doesn't this statement speak volumes...?

How tough it must be for those, who feel that they are so superior to their peers, to live day to day...

You know, I actually believe it's the opposite...over 90% of American's believe in their God...with comments made on this board it seems to me it's the non-believers who don't understand religion...yeah, I'll get the typical "but I grew up in church" or "I've read the bible", but comments made prove my point...

One can read a book on physics and not understand it...but that certainly doesn't make them smarter or more "superior" to those that do understand it...

phreedm, Im sorry I didn't get past the sub title.

JournalistsHave Warned of Climate Change for 100 years, but can't decide weather we face an ice age or warming.

What kind of crap is that, I'm not really interested in what the journalists think, All you have to do is look at the ice core data. Do you understand what exponential
means? Really your sources are crap.
phreedm:

Is it your position that if you truly understand religion, then you are compelled to believe in it? And do you think that non-belief in religion is necessarily proof that the non-believer doesn't understand it?

And one last question: Is it possible to believe in religion, but not understand it? and if so, would the belief be "true" belief in that case?
