If someone wants to set one of those bombs off in my town of Roanoke, that would be A-OK.

But does this prove that homosexuality is not a choice? I think it's almost irrefutable proof that homosexuality is hormonal... something that people can't choose but can potentially be governed by genetics.

I wonder what led them to believe that if solders were sexually attracted to each other it would make them less interested in fighting. Might such feelings make a person a more passionate fighter? After all, I doubt most solders are thinking about God and Country in the heat of battle. More like, "that SOB shot my buddy!!" I know I for one would be more likely to take up arms for a lover than for a flag.

Hints of Plato's Republic.
Reed:
If someone wants to set one of those bombs off in my town of Roanoke, that would be A-OK.
Wow, another Roanoke person?
If they had a working device that could do this, I'd like to set it off inside Fox "News" studios.

I heard about this on NPR's "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" this saturday. I can only imagine what they brainstorm about at the pentagon. I wonder what would happen to the soldiers that were already gay?

@rainbows:
Exactly. The only way it would work is if you have the enemy fall in love with your troops. And even then you'd have a Bobbit or two, just lying in a jelous wait. :)
