HR 1592 could be used to silence unpopular speech if the speech is deemed to be casue a sense of intimidation. Xians have every right to say and believe that homosexuality is wrong just as I have every right to think and say that religion is ignorant and stupid. We already have laws which punish assault and we really don't need more legislation that carries different punishment based on the attackers beliefs and thus creates Orwellian thought crimes.
