Barbarians Behaving Badly – “Super-Immorality”

http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/05/08/fortdix.plot/index.html

WASHINGTON (CNN) — The federal government charged five alleged Islamic radicals with plotting to kill U.S. soldiers at Fort Dix in New Jersey.A sixth was charged with aiding and abetting the illegal possession of firearms by three of the others.”The philosophy that supports and encourages jihad around the world against Americans came to live here in New Jersey and threaten the lives of our citizens through these defendants,” New Jersey U.S. Attorney Christopher J. Christie said at a news conference Tuesday.

How bad does a religion have to be before we declare it “bad”? Sure, one (I) can make the argument that all religions are bad, but I mean worse than all the others.I mean, think of a fictional religion that’s “the worst”. Call it “BADISM”. What would the worst religion in the world look like? I think the worst religion would preach hate, violence, and war. What else? Extreme intolerance to criticism, of course. It would guide by fear and violence.Certainly, every adherent need not be evil. Some may be very good, right? Since we all know morality and religion are not connected, some Badists may have just been born to a Badist family and dismiss the worst elements of Badism, chosing to observe only the most benign qualities.Granted, all of the Abrahamic faiths could qualify for this, but the true worst would have to reach the next level. It would threaten the world-wide populations with destruction, and cause far more fear and hatred than the others. Now, how close is Badism to Islam? The problem with Islam is that it is so intolerant to interpretation that more Moslems take the violent, intolerant, warlike (in other words, Barbaric) passages seriously, and commit acts of what I like to call ‘Super-immorality’. This, combined with it’s fungus-like spread across the world, makes Islam the worst religion in the world, in my opinion.I think we should refer to it as such.

I agree that radical islam is more dangerous than the christo-fascism we’re dealing with here if for no other reason than the islamists’ willingness to ‘martyr’ themselves. Sure, the United States has all this fancy weaponry at it’s disposal and the country is being run by religious lunatics. But our religious lunatics are pussies when compared with the islamists – our lunatics aren’t willing to blow themselves up for the cause. We may have thousands of nuclear missiles, but we’re not quite crazy enough to use any of them for fear of sparking something that could wipe us all out. But put just one 50 kiloton warhead in the hands of an islamist and he will march right off to the nearest major city and set the thing off without a moment’s hesitation. He dreams about doing shit like that.

    Now that is scary.

Wow! This is astonishing! The evidence is well known to all. Our invasion of Iraq has led to the death of 100s of thousands of Iraqis and displaced millions from there homes. Yet, what?, 3000 dead americans trumps that genocide?

Folks, the evidence of who is more dangerous is in … WE are the danger. Keep telling the world that all that matters is Americs’s pain and the rest of the world will destroy us.

BushCo would not and could not have invaded Iraq without the support of the religious right. Of all people those of you here surely understand the political calculus of the religious right – gives us some supremes and we will back you on anything … anything. And they did. 100s of thousands predictably dead for absolutely nothing.

I don’t believe the foreign policy mistakes of the US is fundamentally religious in nature, unlike radical Islamic terrorism, which is largely religious in nature.

    Actually, I agree w/you.
I think the RR tipped the Rebumpkins off that the best way to hide all their balls-ups, is to cloak it in religious fervor.
It’s a great cover. That is, for folks who believe in that bipolar BS.

“I just think that the US government isn’t part of this discussion because we are talking about religions here.”

We are talking about the behavior of the religious and such discussion obviously must include the means by which the religious zealots do their harm. The means was our government.

All that stands between us and the xianfascists is our constitution. But unfortunately our constitution did not stand between the xianfascists and the Iraq people.

And he’ll stand right next to it and bask in the burn.

If the muslims had the christian weapons and the christians had the muslim weapons, what do you suppose the christians would do? I believe the christians would do things similar to what the muslims are doing and the muslims would do things similar to what the christians are doing. So isn’t it a case of: I like the way my weapons kill better than I like the way your weapons kill.

Just a short time ago the W (so he can spell it) regime was considering using nuclear weapons against Iran, they would do it if they could find any hope of not being met with total outrage from the world community. The election of an overwhelming majority of democrats in the last election has reduced the possibility of the use of nuclear weapons by W. That doesn’t diminish the stupidity of W’s consideration.

The justifications made by W for the invasion of Iraq have been shown to be false and manufactured, that was known at the time by a reasonable review of the evidence. The christians at the time believed the invasion was part of the overall plan of their god idea, as the war has not been going well for their side they don’t talk about that now, however, the christians still want to live out their fantasy.

Religion is in the government of the muslim dominated countries and it is in the government of the US, religion should not be there.

    Oh, I almost forgot!
    Impeach bush NOW.

    Christians suck too ya know.

How long should he spend on death row before his execution? Should it be done in Texas?

    What;
That would be the perfect poetic justice.
    I had to laugh. thanks!

Life in prisonment in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, gaurded by the detainees that he put there without good cause?

I agree with you and I think most of your commentors are nuts. 7 million Jews are terrorizing over 300 million Muslims in the ME? What are the Zionists doing that makes Muslims want to kill Buddists in Thailand, Christians in the Phillipines, Hindus in India, and more Christians in Indonesia and North Africa? Could it be that they just can’t tolerate the existance of people who are not like them?

Naw! It must be The Fence. If you build a fence to keep out the people who want to kill you, you will make the people who want to kill you want to kill you, right?

    Mxracer657,

You said (speaking of Israel): ?. . . but it is the best representation of a democratic state in the entire region.?

Well, yes, but I think of Israel is a theocracy that holds elections.

    That’s nuculur, not nuclear. :)

Please explain how the earth was made. I believe in God. There is hot lava under the earth, for real. The temperature of space is -459.5 farienghieght below zero. God the Father pulled a giant chunk out of the sun, using over trillions times over millions of volts. God the Father is made out of white draft nuclear sun material, wieghing millions of tons. Look in the bible, revelations chapter 1 verse 14 to verse 17. Also, look at revelations chapter 4 verse 5. I do not sugar coat God the Father, the Creater.

Please explain how the earth was made.

Best bet coalescence of debris for a supernova. And no I was not there to see it happen.

    I believe in God.

Good for you. Which one? I don’t believe in the reality of any of them.

There is hot lava under the earth, for real.

“Under the Earth”? You do know that the Earth is not flat, right? But yes there is a molten core beneath the surface of the planet.

The temperature of space is -459.5 farienghieght below zero.

It actually fluctuates a little, but I’ll agree that it’s damned cold relative to conditions on Earth.

God the Father pulled a giant chunk out of the sun, using over trillions times over millions of volts.

Cool! You know how stupid that sounds, right?

God the Father is made out of white draft nuclear sun material, wieghing millions of tons.

Does this God the Father chap need to go on a diet? I’m not sure of your point.

Look in the bible, revelations chapter 1 verse 14 to verse 17. Also, look at revelations chapter 4 verse 5.

Read it. Not impressed at all. An average to poor work of fiction interspersed with fact. Difficult at times to know which is which.

I do not sugar coat God the Father, the Creater.

Well you’d need a lot of sugar to effectively coat those millions of tons of white draft nuclear sun material.

I sure hope you’re not serious.

    Corey M. Davis,
Don’t listen to HeatheNZ. I think that, with your erudition and the Wisdm of Phreedm, you have convinced me that that I am wrong not to believe.

But… I thought we were supposed to worship god the Son. Please tell me what to do.

  16. avatar Corey M. Davis says:

Now, since God the Father, the almigty creater made this planet, he wants us to highly respect his human son, like we would highly respect God the Father. Many people believe like I do that God came to earth as a human. Also, man treated Jesus terrible. And this world always had wars and other killings and man does respect life, for other men, too.

  17. avatar Corey M. Davis says:

  19. avatar Corey M. Davis says:

Now one time I asked an atheist how he thought the earth was made. And he showed me some theories from a website dictionary, about rocks sliding around, in outerspace, to make earth. Then why is it that hot lava is under the earth?

Also, I wish that all belivers in God can be on target, like me, with total logic, so they can easily destroy atheism, in debates like me.

Corey, the only thing you are destroying is the English language.

  23. avatar Obeah says:

Now, since God the Father, the almigty creater made this planet, he wants us to highly respect his human son, like we would highly respect God the Father. Many people believe like I do that God came to earth as a human. Also, man treated Jesus terrible. And this world always had wars and other killings and man does respect life, for other men, too.

Now, since God the Father, the [almighty] [creator] made this planet, [He] wants us to highly respect [His] human [Son], [as] we would highly respect God the Father. Many people believe [as] I do[,] that God came to earth as a human.
(Also, man treated Jesus [terriblely]). This has no relation to the previous statement.
(And this world [has]always had wars and other killings and man does respect life, for other men, too.) Can’t help with this last bit without a complete rewrite. The first ‘and’ refers to nothing. ‘…wars and other killings’ seems an unusual pearing, but I think I know what is being said. ‘Man does respect life… (for other men is redundant), as is the ‘too’.

  24. avatar Obeah says:

    Dang!
It’s a law that pedantry is always outed by one’s own mistakes.

Or rather, Its a law and mistakes are made when you also right in a padentic way. Also, reading is an interesting.
