Yeah, judging from the previous Paula Zahn shows featuring atheism, I wouldn’t call this a great PR move. What the hell does atheism have to do with Pat Tillman? Nationalist propaganda = religion? Maybe, but that’s too much of a stretch to explain in frantic, cable-news-style sound bite.

I think they should just stage a cut down match between Ellen and Debbie Schlussel – that’s what it will probably end up being anyway.

I didn’t know Tillman was an atheist at all. The media always seems to portray people in the military as christians.
