Did you happen to see the part about the "gospel of prosperity"? I almost choked on my booze, which was required to actually watch this piece of BS.

I continue to be amazed at how they can twist and turn and change the words of their lord and saviour to suit their actions of the day!

As I was driving around the City yesterday, I was amazed at the billions of dollars tied up in houses of worship. I'm just speaking of the actual buildings and real estate, never mind the golden chalices and tithing idiots!

Of course, Jesus would be so proud of these monuments to power & greed!

WWimaginaryJD? They really don't care!

Forgot to add the bit about the "derogatory" piece on the History Channel last night. It was about all of Jesus' work that was left OUT of the bible.

I guess it didn't fit.

and, yes, this morning, it was all about how horrible they were to try and question anything about this bible book and/or christianity.

Where are the christians in this christian nation? I can't find them here in Denver!

Where are the Christians in this Christian nation? I can't find them here in Denver!

I can't find any here is Colorado Springs either. You know, when I think about it, I haven't met any while living in Nebraska, Arizona or Southern California...

...they must have all been eaten by Jerry Fallwell.

I have actually stopped watching CNN because of how shamelessly they pander to their "Christian" audience. The same goes for the Today Show.

Not in Boise, either.

This CNN thing is all about money, greed and power, much like xianity itself.

CNN is just pandering to the majority in this country. They have to appease their advertisers with big viewership.

Just another case of the dumbing down of Amerika.

Hopefully the BBC will do better.

I imagine any network bold enough to air Dawkins' documentary will fair just a touch better. CNN has been gone for a while now. It just happened to be leftist punditry which is sometimes harder for us to parse.

I now go to Yahoo, AP, BBC, Al Jazeera and Drudge to try to span the breadth of opinion and punditry. It makes the news more of a chore, sure, but reading the same story from so many polarized angles has its benefits.

When asked about a religious litmus test for candidates, Falwell did allow that the person best qualified for the office should be in it, even if that meant an atheist. He first mentioned a a preference for a faith-based person. But I was surprised that he would publicly allow even that much room for an atheist in the White House, which was what the question was regarding.

Did I miss something?

Cable News Network?

Last week it was more like Christian Nonsense Network.

Thankfully Easter only comes once a year.
BBC always does better and has been criticised by zionists, jews, xians, and muslims for presenting the news as it is without giving israel a special pass or giving any religious group an obvious favourable bias. If you want to know what's really going on in the world then read the foreign press such as the BBC, Der Spiegel, and Le Mond (the latter two have English editions).

Yo

I think all of Time Warner (CNN's parent) is slipping into the theists' hands: I get Time magazine and the volume of religious stuff in there is increasing week by week. Articles such as why we should teach the bible in public schools, about the sorry lives of preachers' wives, and editorials by James Dobson just to mention a few.

http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1568485,00.html

By the way: Of course they're doing it to MAKE MONEY.
