I’m . . . pretty far from being a liberal Christian leaning a bit more towards the “militant atheist” spectrum, but I’m guessing you’ve figured that one out by now, hehe.
Back to the classifieds topic… I’m looking for the following on a project basis:
Search Engine Optimization speciaIist: I’m doing bigger and bigger websites and finding I don’t have the skills to do this effectively. At the moment I’m looking for a SEO person to help me with a Planned Parenthood job. You’d be surprised how many people won’t do work for them. I built and maintain http://www.pphsinc.org and am looking for a SEO person to help with better placement for Emergency Contraception.
Programmers: I’m looking for a programmer who has experience with building open source e-commerce systems. Right now I’m looking at OScommerce, but am open to other suggestions.
ASP Programmers: I may have a few projects coming up in the future that require knowledge of ASP. Knowledge of JSP and php would be handy as well.
Graphic Designers: While I am a graphic designer myself, I need help. No worries if you’re not the most technical person. I need strong design skills more than I need expertise in Quark, InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator.
Illustrators: I’m looking to expand the number of illustrators I work with for logos. Being good at Flash is a plus.
In general I’m looking to expand the number of people I call on to help with jobs. I’m not at the point where I need full time help, but if you’re looking to make some extra cash, this might be a good way to do it. Email me at studio@yellowhousedesign.com if you’re interested. Can anyone tell me what a reasonable price would be to charge for having an ad on a blog? The options are
150×150 button
160×600 skyscraper
468×60 full banner
weekly, monthly, or yearly
The blog can accomodate 300px buttons or skyscraper and a 900 px banner.
My son has an offer to run an ad on his blog, but doesn’t know what to charge.
