I just feel sorry for him because he always has to watch his back and be careful and he can't really get involved with anyone because he lives on base. There is no reason why gays and straights can’t serve side by side in the military. They’re doing it all the time now. DADT is just a way to keep the enlistment numbers up, and allows the homophobes to keep kidding themselves.

As I have said before, Gay Rights is not a stand-alone issue. It is part of the Separation of Church and State.

And don’t everybody pile on about me being anti-gay or not PC. I just would like to see American Atheists in general, and this blog in particular, pick its fights and be more focused on the subject at hand – that would be atheism, correct?

If I want to support and/or constantly read about gay rights, or save the whales, or environmental issues, or whatever, I look to the appropriate organizations!
