I guess Great minds think alike -- I knew this sounded familiar.

Observed Lynn, "Thanks to the Justice Department, the Salvation Army could literally place newspaper ads reading, 'Help Wanted for Government-Funded Jobs: No Jews, Buddhists, Muslims, Liberal Christians, Atheists Or Gays Need Apply,' and this would be perfectly acceptable to Gonzales. This is a perverse way of supposedly defending our religious freedom rights."

Protecting the majority, that sound about right. I thought the religious were already protected. I would have thought that protecting minorities from the majority would have been a higher priority on the DOJ's to-do list. Call me crazy.

I'd be ok with christian organizations not hiring atheists/jews/bhuddists/muslims if secular organizations (the gubment)wouldn't hire christians. just to be fair.

footnote: not really, I'm being sarcastic, I don't think organizations should decide on anything other than performance, althouth this includes failure to perform for religious reasons, such as pharmacists who won't fill birth-control prescriptions.

"blowing the whistle on any perceived slight to religion" sounds mor like brown shirt gorilla tactics than some defense to me. But maybie we all need to just consider the source and expect no less from them.
