Can someone record this and up it so I can view it after work, please?
Fox news just gave a blurb about the upcoming story on atheists. Can’t tell what part of the show it will occur. Sometime efore 2 PM eastern here.
Well, Ellen did her best at getting a word in edgewise and hlding her own, but, as usual, it was 4 panelists, plus the biased commentator to just Ellen on our side.
The believers denied the numbers from the polls Ellen quoted, stating theat religion was on the decline, and the country singer said he knew for a fact there was a god.
*sigh*
They didn’t even show a shot of Ellen when they signed of and thanked her for being there.
It was supposed to be a spot about atheism emerging in America, and they gave more time to the god people once again.
oops
“hlding her own,”
should be –holding her own
There are other typos, but I think they’re more obviously figured out.
sorry.
Anyway, Nice try Ellen. Keep speaking out.
off topic another big preacher the rev.haggard has been accused of paying a man for sex.
reason,
I heard about that this morning, oh this is going to be bad for the GOP. I hope they will learn and change into better people.
Secular jewish Community? Maybe you can come speak to the Secular baptist Convention next…
TOTALLY OFF TOPIC
Hey, Karen:
Been thinking bout ya – the neighbor across the street has been working on his X-mas lights for about two weeks now. He has a two-story psychodelic modern thing which he is covering from top to bottom (and side to side) with strings of light! I hate to say this but, he was testing them the other day, and it looks pretty neat. So much work though, I can’t be bothered anymore…~ugh~ I also hope that show doesn’t attrack a lot of unwanted traffic in the neighborhood though…
Cheers!

Hey. I’m not into all that outside glitz. Too much work. If it’s inside, hardly anyone knows that you still haven’t bothered to put it all away come March.
I’m in the midst of cleaning and rearranging so I can get my xmas crap out oof the attic and start putting it up. The goal was right after Holywienie, but life in general has become SNAFU this week.
Oh well. Still plenty of time to be gawdy.
Karen:
The reason why I was thinking about is cause you said that you love “shinny things hanging around” (or something to that effect). I figgered, if Karen loves shinny things hanging around, well, this is Hahaven…
And, yes, as I said, he’s been at it for weeks now (maybe that’s the reason why the wife is in such crapy mood and yelling at all the neighbors in the morning…he he).
I personally can’t even be bothered to change the wreaths on the door (who cares anyway?) – not much is going on inside in that respect either soooo as I figure, I’ve got enough to do just raking leaves…
“Scientology: making the worlds nuts.”
I love Xmas decorations!!
I always wait until the 1st of December and then cover my house with tinsel and stuff. I am thinking about lights this year just for something different.
“Equations of Eternity” crap i forget the author’s name… he sounds atheistic and humanistic in theories. Well is it a good book for your side of the arguement…Yes David Darling. That’s it.
Is this a reputable “no god theologian”?
Q: Does evolution give evidence for the start of life or just the development of life from an unknown/unspecified point?
I haven’t read that yet in the book, but he does say the from chaos comes wonderful order and appearance of design; and how awesome it is that nothing can do that given a brazzillion years.
It’s an easy read, but with a crap load of info in it.
How about Bertrand Russell? How is he thought of by the no god theology camp?
won2have
Bertrand Russell is/was a respected atheist.
I’m not familiar with David Darling.
Evolution and abiogenesis are two separate issues.
thanks
