So it’s ok for the gideons to place bibles in hotel rooms (which I always place outside of my door) but it’s not ok for someone to *CHOOSE* to watch p-ornography in that same room? Get real. What’s next? In NC we can’t buy beer before noon on Sundays thanks to the imposition of someone else’s religious values on everyone else. I really don’t like xians.

i find it horribly ironic that christains belive that they can impose their beliefs on everyone else, while any other religeon establishing their beliefs as law and they would flip out. Example: muslims forbid the consumption of alcohol, judiasm forbids eating pork, can you imagine the rage right wing fundamentalists would be in if those were created into laws, maybe these horribly conceited reliegous rights should use a little bit of perspective to keep their heads from getting so big

I think much of this stems not only from the inherent prudery of xtianity, but that a lot of nimbulbs associate p_orn w/the heavy-breathing derelicts behind beaded curtains, plus scum like Bundy blamed his behavior on p_orn.
Fact is, if it’s a catalyst (like anything else) instead of cathartic, well, you’ve got some pins misfiring in your brain.

Slight correction.

The Marriotts are Mormon, but their company is not owned or operated by the Mormon church. I think it is a publicly traded company.

True, the Marriotts come off looking like hypocrites. They make sure there is a Book of Mormon in each room (along with the Bible) but they turn their heads for the adult flicks they sell.

Why does it both an atheist sooooo much to see a cross or hear someone pray outloud? I think there are more similarities then you'd care to admit....
