Dave,

Attending a few Pirates games at PNC Park in Pittsburgh is one of my objectives.

As stated on my humble "Soltice Greetings" page at http://john16117.tripod.com/index.htm, I wish to all of you - who appreciate the beauty of the never-ending cycle which is earth's dance around the sun - good health, happiness, and success."

Cubs games at Wrigley Field

Using my new grill out on my deck

Wishing I had one of those decks along the park where I could do both at once.

There's nothing that says summer like bricks and ivy.

This is unrelated but I thought it was interesting. I was just watching the Nova about Newton. It talked about how he has been put on a pedestal by the science-minded crowd but that he was very religious and spent years trying to calculate a precise historical timeline explianing the various events in the Bible (he never really did). All I could think about was that, if the guy that invented calculas can't figure out the dates in the bible, maybe the problem wasn't with the guy?

Sorry, back to summer stories now...
