http://www.altoonamirror.com/articles.asp?articleID=2580This is a great LTE from our state Director in PA. It’s also a good time to mention prayer at school graduations. The rule is simple: no organized prayer at official events. Kids can pray if they want, but the whole audience cannot be stopped and led in prayer. Why? Because NOT EVERYONE CHOOSES TO PRAY. But then a group of people (known as “Christians”), not satisfied with the whole equality and tolerance thing, organize illegal acts — they organize a “group spontaneous prayer” because the act itself is legal. The legal equivalent of a technicality, but legal (or so they say). Proving once again that Christianity’s mantra of obeying the local law ends whenever they so choose.

from what i read in the newspaper there has been a general decline in behavior at graduations.it seems to me we have alot of poor parenting going on.these kids are going to get a rude wake up.
If a person who will lead a prayer is included in the graduation flyer. and someone is introduced as leading everyone in prayer is it constitutionaly right? (forgive the spelling) Wouldn’t that be considered as school led prayer especially since the school printed the Flyers even.? happened when I went to my nieces’ Graduation this year.
