Thought Crime is a reality in Europe if it is critical of jews but apparently the double standard allows for anti-islamic sentiments to be openly published under the banner of free thought. Ahmadinejad is an ass on most matters, and I disagree with his politics, but he had a point when calling for holocaust cartoons. The holocaust cartoons are distasteful, as were the anti-islamic cartoons, but we should give both sides equal treatment.

For example, I am against everything the KKK stands for, but I recognize their right to say what they wish as long as it doesn’t incite riot (BTW, thanks for this point reluctant) or otherwise encourage violence.

Just because we don’t agree with the sentiment doesn’t me we can’t agree with the right to say it.
