Personally, I would find a man or woman who would look me in the eyes and admit they had no faith in god more innately trustworthy, considering the fact that politicians *typically* say whatever is popular, and so you would know this person wasn’t pandering…

Of course, they would probably soon after find an excuse for impeachment. In other words, I don't see it happening in the near future. Maybe after the first female or minority gets elected an atheist will have a chance.
