The real problem is that both groups are pretty much the same: do what is best for me and those close to me and the hell with everyone else. Pretty much the same problem we hae here in the US. What we see happening in world politics is a classic example of repetitive prisoner’s dilemma game: betray the other guy once and he soon learns that it is to his advantage to betray you rather than treat you honestly. The only way out is for those who have the positions of power to stop being selfish and start treating others fairly. Doesn?t look to me like that is going to happen with this administration.

The argument is over “who’s story is true.” But it’s not a religious thing. It’s human nature. The excuse can be any cause: religious, social, political, economical, etc.
