Its heart stopped just as they were reaching deep water to release it.
I wonder if it had any inkling that the people were trying to help it, or if they essentially scared it to death with their efforts?
Poor baby.
I was a good feeling to see people trying to save it. It’s sad that their efforts didn’t have a better ending.
The whale died thats to bad i was hoping it would survive but i had a feeling it spent to much time in fresh water with to much stress being put on it and with the improper diet even if they did release it in deep salt water it still may not have survived but one can always hope for the best.
I wish the PEOPLE of this planet spent as much time and treasure helping PEOPLE instead of whales. If they did this would be a much safer and saner place for all of us, including the whales!
Gently: I disasgree there are billions of humans and few whales are left. I fear we humans will eventually wipe out all mammals but us. Once their gone thats it. This notion that human life is so precious compared to other animal is bullshittery.
A world with no goriilas, no lions or tigers no polar bears or elephants just humans now thats starting to sound like hell to me.
I guess I did a terrible job of conveying my thoughts. I have nothing against animals. I just think that people are more important but I didn’t mean we should be alone. I think it is a priority thing is all. If we cared about each other the way we sem to care about a wayward whale then this would be a better place for US AND the whales.
I agree with notyourdaddy. Animals other than people are nice to have around and we need them all to even stay alive! People who think animals are lesser than people should go out in the wild and see that very few animals wage meaningless wars. The best thing about animals is that there is not one theist animal unless you count people but people are animals too.

I disagree. I think you are missing something. The point is that people care, period. Show me someone who cares about a whale and I’ll show you someone who wants to save the world. Show me someone who doesn’t care about saving a stupid whale and I’ll show you someone doesn’t give a damn about anything.
