Let the families of the deceased decide what, if any, symbol they wish ... and fund the project with donations, not tax dollars.

More idotic ranting. Read the constitution, David.

There is absolutely nothing "illegal" about this or any other free exercise of religion in America. Funny, I don't see these folks ESTABLISHING a state religion, do you?

It's simply too bad you don't like it. Get over it.

Tim:
It's the Bill of Rights you're talking about, isn't it?
But if the deceased is an Xtian, every right to be buried under a cross, if so desired. Likewise, crescent, star, etc.
If deceased is atheist, cross on the grave, THEN that's an issue.
The 12 foot crosses? Different animal.

Tim,
Do yourself a favor and read the entire story, not just from this thread, but the original one.
Yes, it is actually illegal under Utah state law to display the 12' crosses on the roadside.
Instead of researching the subject, you just spout off whatever your illogical emotion is at the minute, similar to your circle jerking comment. Your misinformation has led you down another incorrect path, and it would do you best to retract the idiocy you posted above.

Sometimes it feels like we have nothing not to believe in anymore. But I'm holding onto my deeply held non-beliefs about something.
